I absolutely LOVE working as a Personal Development Coach using the structure of the Enneagram!  The Enneagram is often described as a personality typing system, and while it is that in some regard, I believe it goes beyond where most traditional typing frameworks leave off. It is an ancient tool with POWERFUL TRANSFORMATION POTENTIAL. Understanding the Nine Basic Types of the Enneagram and the Core Motivations behind them can open a realm of new possibilities for personal (and group) growth.  When we do the hard work of shining a light into all areas of our lives, and learn to love and appreciate every part of ourselves, we are able to experience real breakthrough. We may identify certain ideas and behaviors that no longer serve us and work to lessen their use in our life. Alternatively, we might identify what parts of our personality serve us well and focus on expanding those traits. Once we have a deeper understanding and compassion towards ourselves, we can bring that same understanding to others we are in relationship with..
